JUNE 2024: In June 2024, Tata Motors reported a sales decline of 8% in domestic passenger vehicles (43,524 units sold). Their electric vehicle (EV) sales were hit hard, dropping 34% from 7,025 units in June 2023 to 4,657 units in June 2024. The decline was attributed to factors such as general elections and heatwaves impacting sales

QUARTERLY 2024: Tata Motors saw slight growth with total sales of 229,891 units, a 1.6% year-over-year increase. Commercial vehicle sales rose by 6%, while passenger vehicles decreased by 1%. A significant drop in EV sales (14%) was recorded compared to the same period in FY24.

YEARLY 2024: For the full financial year ending in March 2024, Tata Motors sold approximately 949,015 units in the domestic market, marking a 2% growth compared to FY23. This was driven largely by passenger vehicles, which saw a 6% rise. However, commercial vehicle sales dipped by 4%
